Terms of use
Read the notes with the right boundary.
These terms describe the limited purpose of SIMGOU Field Notes. By using the site, you agree to use the information as general educational material and to make your own decisions with current, relevant sources.
Informational purpose only
SIMGOU Field Notes is an independent informational and educational publication about eSIM technology and travel connectivity. Articles explain concepts, suggest preparation questions and point readers toward the source best placed to confirm a live detail. They are not telecommunications, technical support, financial, legal or regulatory advice for an individual account or journey.
The site does not sell, issue, activate, provision, distribute or support eSIM profiles or plans. It does not operate as an operator, mobile carrier, eSIM provider, marketplace, reseller, account portal or customer-service channel. A reader who needs help with a profile, account, refund, order, installation or network condition must contact the relevant provider or operator directly.
No guarantee of connectivity or compatibility
We do not guarantee network availability, coverage, signal quality, speed, roaming outcome, device compatibility, profile outcome, Wi-Fi performance or the availability of any third-party service. These matters can depend on geography, congestion, buildings, weather, equipment, exact device hardware, sales region, software, account state, operator policy and current terms.
Device discussion is deliberately conditional. A product family name cannot establish that a particular device supports a feature. Verify the exact model number and current specification with the manufacturer, and verify requirements, destination terms and account conditions with the relevant operator or provider. Information about devices, networks, roaming terms and regulations can change after an article is read.
Accuracy and updates
We aim for useful, careful explanations, but static editorial content can be incomplete, changed by later events or unsuitable for a particular reader’s circumstances. The absence of a publication date does not make a page timeless. Readers should confirm material facts before travel, particularly those about device configuration, roaming, local requirements, account status and provider procedures.
Where our pages mention broadly documented context, such as eUICC terminology or EU and EEA consumer roaming principles, that material remains general. The operative details for a reader are the current conditions of the relevant manufacturer, operator, provider or authority. Do not rely on an article as proof that a service will be available in a particular place or at a particular moment.
Third-party information and external links
Pages may refer to third-party categories, standards, manufacturers, operators, providers or public rules to explain a concept. Such references do not create an endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, authorisation or partnership. We do not control third-party materials and cannot warrant their accuracy, availability, security, terms or privacy practices.
Any external link is provided for context or a clearly identified third-party destination. Following it is your choice and subject to that destination’s own terms. The Pexels link in the footer identifies the source of illustrative stock imagery; it is not a recommendation of a telecommunications service. Review a third party’s current information before taking action.
Acceptable use
You may read, share a link to and use the site for lawful personal or professional reference. You may not use the site in a way that interferes with its operation, attempts to bypass security, introduces harmful code, extracts content at a disruptive scale, misrepresents the publication as a service provider, or infringes rights in the site’s content or third-party materials.
Do not submit sensitive credentials, profile codes, payment details or another person’s personal information through the editorial contact route. The contact form opens an email application and does not establish a protected support channel. If you send a correction or question, keep it focused on the editorial material and do not expect account handling.
Intellectual property
The publication’s text, layout and original brand elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property principles. The photography is third-party stock imagery via Pexels and remains subject to the rights and terms applicable to that source. You may not imply that use of a page, image or mark grants rights beyond ordinary lawful reading and link sharing.
If you quote a short passage for fair and lawful reference, identify SIMGOU Field Notes as the source and preserve the context that it is independent educational material. Do not copy a page into a commercial support, sales or provider-facing presentation in a way that suggests our endorsement or involvement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, use of this site and reliance on its information are at your own risk. SIMGOU Field Notes is not liable for loss, cost, delay, data use, missed connection, account issue, business interruption or other consequence arising from a device, network, provider arrangement, external link, travel decision or reliance on general information.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If a term is found unenforceable, the remaining terms should continue to apply as far as permitted by applicable law.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are intended to operate under applicable law without naming or implying a particular company, office or jurisdiction. Any rights or obligations that cannot be varied by applicable law remain unaffected. A dispute should first be approached through a clear written explanation of the editorial issue at hand.
We may revise these terms when the site’s operation or legal context materially changes. Continued use after a revised version is displayed means use of the current terms, subject to applicable law. The site’s independent editorial purpose and no-service boundary remain central to how the terms should be read.
Contact information
For a question about these terms or a correction to editorial content, contact [email protected] or use the contact page. This address handles editorial correspondence only. It is not a route for eSIM, SIM, carrier or provider customer support.
Reader responsibility
Travel connectivity depends on decisions made by the reader and the parties responsible for the actual arrangement. Before relying on a route, device or service, check that the facts still apply to the exact handset, destinations and terms involved. Keep travel essentials available offline and use provider instructions for any account-specific step.
These terms are not intended to discourage careful preparation. They explain why preparation should include current verification rather than a reliance on editorial generalities. An independent field note can help identify the questions; it cannot replace the live answer held by a manufacturer, operator, provider or applicable authority.
